5. Sunday School – In the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, the Sunday School’s purpose is to teach the young and the newly converted about the faith of Tewahedo Christianity.
Participants learn the doctrine, tradition and proceedings of the Tewahedo Christianity. This is because Sunday is the day of rest and the day to praise Christ in Trinity – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
